Jaden Croucher is studying journalism and women’s & gender studies at Carleton University. She is a working journalist, fiction writer and poet. She likes to write about feminism, mental health, mad pride, LGBTQ+ issues, and general social justice beats pertaining to Ottawa and beyond.

The Leveller is a publication covering news, current events, and culture at Carleton University, the University of Ottawa, the Ottawa/Gatineau region and, to a lesser extent, the wider world. It is intended to provide readers with a lively portrait of their campus and community and of the events that give it meaning. It is also intended to be a forum for provocative editorializing and lively debate on issues of concern to post-secondary students, staff, and faculty as well as Ottawa residents.
