We're looking for contributors and we need you.

Hey there, Levellers! We're looking for contributors and proofreaders. We need your help.

Story Meetings are where you can pitch article ideas, help brainstorm content, or be assigned a story. There is so much news to talk about right now! They're also a way to learn about the Leveller and introduce yourself.

Our next story meeting is: Monday, 7 February at 7PM
https://meet.jit.si/LevellerOttawaStoryMeeting
Just click the link to join us – Jitsi is like Zoom, except free and open-source, non-corporate, etc.

Our latest articles can still use proofreading. Please send corrections in an email to editors@leveller.ca listed with Article Name, Error and Correction for anything that does not meet our proofreading style guide.

Can't make it? No problem! Email editors@leveller.ca to pitch us a story.

Production Cycle is now monthly for this new volume. The due date for this production cycle will be 21 March and publishing on 28 March. Our google calendar has the 2022 schedule with all story meetings and publishing dates already; here’s the same calendar as a simple webpage.

We Pay $75 per story. It's not a large sum, but this is an increase from our previous pay scale. We want to support contributors to our online paper especially during these times.

Our Guides will help you understand expectations for contributing. Please take a look at our Submission Guidelines and Honourarium Policy if you would like to get published and paid. Our Leveller News & Analysis Writing Guide provides the framework for our stories.

Check out other ways to get involved with The Leveller - including joining the Editorial Board.

Take care,
Ashton Starr, Operations Manager, on behalf of the Leveller crew
